Many people may know Luiz Carlos Trabuco as the President and CEO of Banco Bradesco or the Bank of Bradesco. However, most individuals do not realize that before he took over the presidency of the financial institution back in 2009, he already served almost 40 years in various divisions of the bank.
Like with several success stories out there, Luiz Carlos Trabuco had a humble start. He first worked as a clerk of the company before he was even recognized as one of the most respected names in Bradesco Bank. Although it is a private bank that only keeps has higher-ups among its family members, Luiz Carlos Trabuco found his way to the top because of hard work, efficiency, and strength of character.
Throughout his journey, he passed through every chain of leadership, along with the different departments of the institution. After becoming a clerk at the bank at the age of 17, he went through lots of tasks for more than 15 years. He was later promoted and became the marketing director of the company. He became well-known during his tenure because he transformed the communication of the bank and modernized it. He also bridged the gap between Bradesco and the media.
For eight years, he was in charge of the marketing department of the bank. It was in 1992 when he was promoted to the highest position for Bradesco Vida e Previdência, a private branch of the company that mainly focused on pensions. He remained in this position until 1998 when he became the Managing Director of the bank. He was elected as the Executive Vice President of Banco Bradesco just a year later.
In 2003, Luiz Carlos Trabuco was the president of Bradesco Seguros, which gave him authority over eight other divisions of the financial conglomerate, including Capitalization and Bradesco Vida e Previdência. He was in charge of coordinating the shares of the bank on the New York Stock Exchange.
When Luiz Carlos Trabuco became the president of the Bradesco Bank, he helped the company increase its performance. He has proven his worth and successfully solidified his presence in the entire financial industry.
