Some of his philanthropic works include noble causes such as the PIET project which offers educational opportunities to the disadvantaged teenagers of Brazil.

Ever since the conception of his first hotel back in 1995, a following of more than one hundred thousand have come through the doors of his luxurious hotels and resorts. Last year was a good one for the hotelier managing to accommodate 6 million tourists. With the future being bright, he still hopes to increase the growth of 2000 stores by 2020.

The National Confederation of Industry, known as CNI, recently conducted a study that was entitled Great Works Stopped. This survey utilized data that was collected through the end of the 2017 calendar year. The data was provided to CNI by the Brazilian Ministry of Planning. The end results showed staggeringly that nearly three-thousand public works are stopped at the moment. Many of these situations involve works that are a direct part of the Brazilian infrastructure.
